10 Reasons To Read the Portal 2 Comic
If you’ve been too busy playing Portal 2 to have discovered that Valve posted a Portal comic on the game‘s official website, then now would be a good time to read it. Portal 2: Lab Rat tells the tale of Rat Man, from his days as an Aperture Science employee, to his escape–and return–to the facility.
And if “Portal 2 comic” didn’t have you furiously clicking your way over to read it, here are ten reasons you shouldn’t skip it:
- It bridges the storyline between Portal and Portal 2
- You meet Doug “Rat Man” Rattmann, the schizophrenic scientist who scrawled “the cake is a lie”
- The artistic style conveys Doug’s descent into madness
- It has more of the Portal humor we’ve come to love
- It’s free
- You learn a little more about Chell
- GLaDOS quotes!
- Touching moments with the companion cube
- Cave Johnson–’nuff said
- Neurotoxin
Check out our guide on how to find all of Rattman’s dens, which are scattered throughout the early chapters of Portal 2, and read the Portal 2 Comic (27 page PDF) now. Do it.
