100% of Global Agenda Weekend Sales Pledged To Japan Relief
Hi-Rez Studios, the developer of the online third-person shooter Global Agenda, will be donating 100% of weekend website sales of its sci-fi MMO to the Red Cross’ Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief effort.
From 1pm EST Friday March 18 through midnight on Sunday March 20, Global Agenda is being discounted from $29.99 to $9.99 on the Hi-Rez Studios web store and all game sale proceeds will be donated toward relief activities.
Released February 2010 and built on the Unreal Engine 3, Global Agenda is a subscription-free MMO that mixes a science-fiction setting with secret agent elements, placing it in the spy-fi subgenre. You create, customize, and develop your agent through an RPG-style progression system while relying mainly on your FPS skills to earn the experience points that will unlock bigger and badder weapons, gadgets, and deployables–and did I mention that every character has a jetpack?
You can play co-op with up to four other players as you embark on a spec-op mission through the equivalent of futuristic dungeons, avoiding traps and defeating end bosses, or compete in fast-paced, player-versus-player objective-based matches. In either case, teamwork and tactics are paramount.
Buy the game and donate to the Red Cross over at the Hi-Rez Studios web store.
