1942: Joint Strike and Go! Go! Breaksteady on Arcade This Week

Microsoft announced last week some of the supremely awesome Xbox Live Arcade games we’ll be seeing by the end of summer. Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing any of the ones they mentioned this week, but it does look like a good week with the release of 1942: Joint Strike, a new game in the classic 194X series. And while it is another overhead shooter, it’s 1942, so it’s hard to really be disappointed.

The other new game is something called Go! Go! Breaksteady. For all I know, it might be the most fun game in history, but read the following description and try to tell me it doesn’t sound absolutely stupid:

In Go! Go! Break Steady, choose a character and make them dance by following visual cues on the screen. Once you have mastered the button break dancing, you are taken to a mini game where you shoot balls to make sets of three or more.

How gnarly.

Both games will be available this Wednesday for 800 Microsoft points ($10) each.
