25 Years of Zelda… and 59 Pics of Zelda Cosplayers

Zelda Cosplay #1

Picture 1 of 59

I may not love the Legend of Zelda franchise like some of you do, and it may annoy me that it regularly gives all the nerds I know in real life orgasms, but damn if I don’t respect it. I mean, the games are pretty good, and I don’t feel like throwing up whenever I heard a new game announced, unlike some other really old franchises I can think of.

Anyway, this ridiculous anniversary is a reason to celebrate, and I only know one way to celebrate things like this: with a massive cosplay gallery! Here we have some of the best and worst Link and Princess Zelda cosplay the world has to offer. Remember: we aren’t just celebrating 25 years of a game franchise; we’re also celebrating 25 years of men dressing up as women and women dressing up as men in the name of this franchise.

The couple in #33 aren’t even cosplayers. That was a picture off their Facebook from a Halloween party, and you should know that all Halloween costumes are expected to be terrible. I know this because I know them. Plus, they weren’t even that bad. It’s not really fair that people post these “bad” pictures all over the internet, so these poor people end up on Google listed as terrible cosplayers. They don’t deserve it, and it’s just plain rude on your part.

When did I say that’s a bad pic? I made no value judgments.
