40 Years of Console Gaming in Pictures

Wired magazine’s website has a feature online now that showcases a pictorial history of console gaming spanning almost 40 years. It starts with a prototype for what would eventually become the Magnavox Odyssey and ends with todays current generation of console offerings. The favorites, the failures: they’re all here. It’s at least worth a look for the kitsch factor.
