$5000 Reward Offered for Stolen Gamescom PCs

Two PCs were stolen from Gamescom, and a $5000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identification of the culprit and return of the PCs.

The two PCs were stolen from Larian’s booth in the business hall at Gamescom, containing early builds of Divinity: Dragon Commander and Divinity: Original Sin, and Larian is offering the $5000 reward.

The Larian team is using backup PCs, so no appointments will be canceled.

Not that theft against a large, AAA developer is justified, but the fact that a smaller (40-employee) studio like Larian was the victim of this crime stings especially hard. We wish Larian the best of luck in retrieving their property.

How in the world did these thieves pull this off. I suspect an inside job or at least help from someone inside. Its not like a little Samsung smartphone you can put in your pocket and walk off.
