A Lionhead Animator Applies To Valve With ‘Dance Fortress’ 2

In 1482, Leonardo Da Vinci ran out of friends in Florence and needed to be somewhere else, pronto. So he sent his resume to the Duke of Milan; it informed his lordship of Leonardo’s skill in architecture, munitions, metal casting, fortifications, and tunnelling. Also, he hastily added, he was kinda good at painting and sculpture. No one has ever topped that letter for its combination of brazen pride and nonchalant humility, but we may just have seen the first serious contender. James Benson, a Lionhead animator most recently attached to Fable III, apparently wants a job with Valve. So he created Dance Fortress 2:

He’s actually been teasing this video out for about 4 months, and as he told PC Gamer:

“the short is basically my application to Valve, so wish me luck”

Luck? James is only 21 years old. And British. So he’s already cooler than you twice today. So come on, what do you say, Valve? Any openings? Don’t make us call Freedom Williams.
