Alan Wake 2 Already in the Works

It’s still a few days before Alan Wake’s official release, we’ve just barely finished reviewing it, and Remedy has gone and revealed Alan Wake 2′s plot is “already decided.” But that’s fine with us. Even with this head start we’ll probably see Alan Wake 2 the same time we see full consumer-grade hoverboards. We kid, Remedy!
Remedy’s Oskari Hakkinen told CVG, “season one will have a conclusive and satisfactory ending but we will leave doors open for season two and we know where we’re going to take the story.”
No word yet on exact details for Alan Wake 2, or a release date, but we’ll keep you appraised.

Remedy’s Oskari Hakkinen told CVG, “season one will have a conclusive and satisfactory ending but we will leave doors open for season two and we know where we’re going to take the story.” And “leave doors open” Alan Wake does indeed…that’s all we’re saying. It’s an interesting, somewhat risky move on Remedy’s part, serializing the story in this way over several forthcoming “episodes.” If reviews are any indication, though, the game should get renewed for a couple of seasons. We’re certainly looking forward to it.
