Alan Wake’s American Nightmare Flashes PC on May 22

Remedy Entertainment finally brought the acclaimed psychological horror title Alan Wake to PC from Xbox 360 earlier this year, and now that it has made that leap, it’s bringing the downloadable follow-up along to PC as well.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is a more arcade-style title and was previously released last summer on Xbox Live Arcade. It’ll hit Steam on May 22, and if you’re interested in grabbing it, it’s already at a 10-percent discount. Alan Wake owners get it for an additional 15 percent off, bringing the total discount to 25 percent.

Worth noting that American Nightmare isn’t Alan Wake 2, and that it puts or emphasis on fighting than story with some more arena-like maps in which players have to fight off the Darkness-infused Taken enemies with items such as flashlights, flares and firearms.
