Aliens: Colonial Marines Pushed Back to Fall — Or Is It?

Last we heard via press release, Aliens: Colonial Marines was set to release in Spring 2012. Granted, that release window was stated way back in June 2011, but we hadn’t heard news of delays — until today.

A quick visit to the game‘s official website this morning would have shown you a release window of Fall 2012, as captured in the screenshot above.

However, mere minutes after I took the screenshot, the webmasters changed “Fall” back to “Spring.” The question is, was this an honest miscommunication or error, or were we temporarily privy to an accidental release delay announcement?

I’ve always found the xenomorph from Alien to be the most frightening “monster” to come out of the horror genre; H. R. Giger is a master at creating disturbing, nightmarish imagery. I’m not sure I can wait another six months to have the sh** scared out of me.

They’re trying to surprise you CJ, the Alien is actually going to jump out of the computer screen and shout “IT COMES OUT RIGHT NOW!”
