Amazon Listing Suggests Grand Theft Auto V Coming To PC

Rockstar has remained mum on the development of Grand Theft Auto V for the PC since the game’s announcement two years ago. Along with a host of details about the game, the company has since confirmed that the game will be out on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but refused to say anything about a potential PC release, leaving a lot of gamers disappointed by the neglect.

Given the popularity of GTA IV and its expansion packs on the PC, it makes little sense for the company to neglect its PC audience.

Today,—the French version of Amazon, in case the ‘.fr’ didn’t tip you off—has a new page online for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. The game carries a price tag of EUR 49.99 and is listed under ‘soon’. It reads:

Order now and we’ll send it when it becomes available.
Ships from and sold by Gift-wrap available.

The game appears to require Windows XP, Vista, and 7, and carries a PEGI classification of 18 and over.

It’ve taken a screenshot of the listing in case Rockstar decides to pull it later on. See it below:

It’s unknown whether the listing is a mistake or a verification that the game will be released on the PC, so take it with a grain of salt.
