AMD Pledges to Include Battlefield 4 in Future Promotions

AMD has pledged to include Battlefield 4 in its next “Never Settle” bundle, a fancy name for the games that come packaged with its graphics cards as promotional items.

Due for release in late 2013, Battlefield 4 is perfectly timed to be a part of AMD’s next-generation graphics cards, which are set to release around the same time. With the AMD logo set to appear in Battlefield 4, the deal is all but confirmed.

At the recent Game Developers Conference, the game was demonstrated on a high-end PC powered by a Radeon 7990, a dual-chip graphics card by AMD.

“[Partnership between AMD and EA DICE on the Battlefield 4] was presented at the Game Developer Conference, and the AMD Gaming Evolved logo already appeared online in the context of the game. You can expect that Battlefield 4 will be part of [future] Never Settle bundles,” said AMD’s Roy Taylor in an interview with

The current “Never Settle” campaign includes free copies of BioShock Infinite, Crysis 3, Devil May Cry, Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, and Far Cry 3. These bundles are available with every purchase of Radeon HD 7800 and HD 7900-series cards. SimCity is slated to become a part of the bundle in a few weeks.

If you’re planning on picking up an AMD card, it’s a good idea to hold off on pre-ordering the game.
