Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Delayed

Good news arrived this winter in the form of Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, a sequel to the terrifying indie title Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Produced by original developers Frictional Games but developed by Dear Esther masterminds thechineseroom, the game will preserve the emphasis on atmospheric malaise and psychological horror that made the first game so scary.

Unfortunately, Amnesia fans will have to wait a little bit longer than expected. According to an interview with GameZone, the release window has been pushed back into “early 2013.” This is disappointing news, but if it means that thechineseroom get the time they need to make A Machine For Pigs the best game it can possibly be, we can hardly complain.
