Amplitude Studios Announces 4X Strategy Game Endless Legend

Since the release of the 4X strategy title, Endless Space, in 2012, Amplitude Studios has worked not only on expanding the game, but has also worked behind closed doors on new games set within the “Endless” universe, like the recently announced Dungeon of the Endless.

In addition to Dungeon of the Endless, the studio has announced that it has also been putting together a new fantasy game in the vein of 4X strategy called Endless Legend.

As was the case with Endless Space, Iceberg Interactive will be publishing the game at retail, but not on Steam, where Amplitude takes care of itself.

“Creating a fantasy 4X game was a dream for all of us at Amplitude. The success of Endless Space and the support of our community have allowed to make this dream come true,” comments Mathieu Girard, CEO of Amplitude Studios. “With respect towards great games released before us, we intend to set a new benchmark in creating a rich, immersive, thrilling, and accessible 4X strategy game in a new fantasy setting.”

Endless Legend is slated for a Spring 2014 release.

Endless Space should have been called Endless Bugs. Poor design and non-existent QC.
