Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is Coming to PC, Enhanced!

Konami has confirmed its plans to release Castlevania: Lords of Shadow on the PC, where the game will be available with several major enhancements. The game was originally released on console platforms several years ago. The new so-called Ultimate Edition of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has been dated for an August 27 release.

Available as both a retail and digital title, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for the PC will feature the base game and two add-on chapters, Reverie and Resurrection. It also comes with a host of improvements over the console releases, including 1080p HD graphics, which run at 60 frames per second. The game also comes with trophy integration and cloud saving through Steam.

The game was originally spotted on the Steam database this past March.

Can they enhance it enough to not be an embarrassment to the franchise? Probably not.
