(UPDATED) An LA Noire Mod That Removes the Framerate Cap

UPDATE: I’ve been told that this file has a trojan in it. So maybe don’t download it.

LA Noire¬†on PC is all right, but it’s got a couple annoyances. The first is that it caps the frame rate at 30 fps. Second is that if you don’t have a 16:9 monitor, you get black bars at the top and bottom of your screen.

Enter jackfuste, who has made a mod for the game that both releases the frame rate and removes the black bars. Killer!

This sounds like a handy mod, and one that you’ll want to grab if you take issue with either of those two things. And you probably do, seeing as how you read this site. You’re an elitist, after all, as you should be.

Get the mod here.

could be a false positive, did you try using one of those websites that scan files for you to compare with the top definitions out right now, an example is http://www.virustotal.com/

Ummm does anyone in this post knows that it is supposed to be a hack or more of like a crack to replace the running L.A Noire files. And most of the antivirus if not all, detect these kinds of files as Trojan or some kind of Virus. So practically nothing to worry about, Trust me I have been doing these kind of things for years and up until now I hadn’t had a single problem. Thank You!!!

TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen and Trojan.Crypt simply mean means the executable is packed and obfuscated…..its not a virus ffs
