Analyst: The Old Republic May Already Have 1.5 Million Users

The Star Wars: The Old Republic early access period is going swimmingly, if we are to believe Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz, who says that, based on the fact that EA had 140 servers going for the game on Saturday, there could be as many as 1.5 million users playing the game already.

It’s not even launch day yet, and it looks like the game is doing pretty well. And if they had 1.5 million on Saturday, one can only imagine how many they’ll have when everybody actually gets to play it all at once tomorrow. I bet it’ll have a lot.

That’s Star Wars for you. So many people still love that name, even though it no longer makes sense to do so. Whatevs.

Question is how long are those 1.5 million (or more at launch date) going to stay in the game? and how many more people could bioware have gotten if they hade offer’d game-time cards?

Yeah, and they’re all in front of me in the server queue.
