And Now, An Introduction To Elder Scrolls Online

I’ll admit it: I remain convinced that Elder Scrolls Online is a foolish idea, a very expensive investment for Bethesda just as the MMO market is transitioning to free to play (and, possibly, declining after a peak hit maybe 4 years or so ago.) Sure, it’ll come out, but I’m fairly certain that the people who play Elder Scrolls games are not the same kind of people who play MMOs; the experience of a single player RPG is highly different from the experience of playing a gigantic MMORPG. WHich make prospects for the success of Elder Scrolls Online dicey.

So that’s my prediction: Elder Scrolls will probably flop. Even so, it looks cool! And to see for yourself, here’s a video giving you a detailed introduction. Enjoy.

Looks interesting. Though one of the main attractions of the previous title was the fact it was single player, and i believe the mmo market won’t able to sustain it.
