Angry Video Game Nerd Briefly Taken Down

Here’s something kind of amazeballs weird that, despite having been resolved, remains confusing as hell. Y’all know about the Angry Video Game Nerd, right? Earlier this morning his entire youtube page was mysteriously taken down for copyright violations. Here’s how things stood this morning:

Very interesting. He likes to mock bad games from gaming past, so presumably some developer or publisher with an incredibly thin skin and a lot of juice complained to Youtube that the channel was in violation of of tje DCMA. Since then, the matter has been cleared up and as of right now the Angry Video Game Nerd is back on youtube. The question is, who the hell complained? We’ll be waiting patiently to see if the mystery is revealed.

LOL. Must have been Nintendo.
Since all he makes fun of is games for the NES.

Michael – while AVGN tends to prioritise NES games, he has in fact reviewed games on various platforms such as Super Nintendo, Sega Master System and Genesis, Atari 2600, Odyssee, Sega CD and 32X, 3DO, PSone, Atari Jaguar, Atari 5200, Game Boy and Game Gear, Neo Geo, Commodore 64, Turbo Grafix 16, N64, and many others. I don’t know who would have been suddenly that upset they’d flag him, unless it was Chris ‘Irate Gamer’ Bores using another puppet account.
