Apparently, 500 Developers Are Associated With Call Of Duty

Madness, sheer madness. Activision’s Call of Duty series is of course the biggest video game franchise of all time. And as you can imagine, it takes a lot of elves to make all those toys. Like 500 of them. 500 people across 5 different developers. So basically, Activision is employing like half the people in America who still have jobs.

This information was revealed in a Venturebeat interview with Activision’s Dave Stohl, the guy tasked with deciding which elves are hired to build which Call of Duty products. The whole thing’s worth a read, but if you can’t get enough Call of Duty, we invite you to check out our on-the-scene coverage of last weekend’s Call of Duty XP.
