Video Shows Off Many Ways to Kill Lady Boyle in Dishonored

Update: My mistake, everyone — this isn’t a trailer made by Arkane Studios, but by Dan Hindes of PC PowerPlay and Sneaky Bastards. It looks pretty damn official, and it caught the attention of Arkane Studios (they shared it around by Twitter), which is why I confused it as such. Sorry, Dan: allow me to make amends by pointing you all to his Twitter account and his YouTube Channel. Thanks to commenter Robert and Brenna Hiller of VG247 for setting me straight.

Original post:

Dishonored is all about options, and Arkane has released (another) trailer showing off all the cool ways you can dispatch people in its supernatural assassination romp, this time focusing specifically on an assassination target.

The trailer, titled “The Many Deaths of Lady Boyle,” takes place during a later mission in the game during which players infiltrate a costume party thrown by Lady Boyle, a member of the aristocracy in the game. She’s your target, and part of the mission has you figuring out which “Lady Boyle” of three, all dressed identically, is the one you need to eliminate.

Once you have that information, however, you can handle Lady Boyle however you might want, from straight-up stabbing her to…well, the trailer will show a few of the more exotic options. And though it’s not shown, there’s always a non-lethal option, as well.

This clearly wasn’t a trailer from Arkane, but from Dan Hindes from PCPowerPlay. Link: https://twitter.com/dhindes/status/256566272446324736

This isn’t a trailer. Some guy from a magazine (PCPP or PCGamer I think) made it.
