Arma 3′s Final Campaign Episode Receives Release Date

Arma 3’s final campaign episode will release on March 20th.

Bohemia Interactive revealed the the new episode, which will be called “Win”, in an announcement yesterday on the game’s website. The third episode in the Arma 3’s The East Wind campaign, Win will conclude the story of the conflict between NATO-led forces and the fictional AAF over the country of Altis.

According to creative director Jay Crowe, players can expect the gameplay to ramp up to previously unseen levels of scale. “The final installment of our campaign gives players the chance to experience combat on a larger scale than we’ve seen so far,” said Crowe in a statement. “Tactical freedom – together with big, combined arms engagements – is at the heart of Episode 3’s gameplay, as we follow Ben Kerry’s story to its conclusion.”

The new episode, in addition to the new story content, will also introduce a trio of new vehicles: two aircraft and a truck. The aircraft will include the single-seat A16-4 Wipeout and the To-199. The truck will be the mine resistant Tempest which will serve primarily to transport troop and cargo. Win will also deliver a new showcase mission centered on the new aircraft as well as new “points of interest” such as an athletics stadium and a ghost hotel compound.

The new content will be delivered to Arma 3 owners via an automatic Steam update.
