Arma 3′s Second Campaign Episode Coming in January

NATO peacekeeper Ben Kerry and his unit will continue their journey out of Sh%&t’s Creek (without a paddle) on Tuesday, January 21st. That’s when Bohemia Interactive will release the second chapter of the three-episode Arma 3 single-player campaign. You Survived in part one, now it’s time to Adapt.

While the first part of the campaign focused on the basics of infantry combat, this second Adapt episode plays with the other cool features of Arma 3′s sandbox,” said Content Lead Jaroslav Kasny said in a statement. “Players will find more open and unorthodox scenarios, and with the help of guerrilla warfare, set out to defeat a much stronger enemy.”

Ahead of episode two’s launch, Bohemia will release all of the multiplayer goodies Adapt comes packing, including three additional vehicles. This content will be free to everyone who already owns Arma 3 and will be ready for launch on December 11.

After a lengthy alpha and beta and a release without a campaign, it took forever this content to get here, but we enjoyed our time in Arma 3′s first campaign episode, Survive. It did a nice job bridging the gap between accessibility and realism, though it did feel a bit brief. Looking forward to doing more than just running and hiding in Adapt.
