This Army of Life-sized Dragonborn Stands Ready to Invade A Store Near You

Did you ever wonder where those awesome life-sized statues of video game characters come from, before they appear to glower at you from just inside the door of the local GameStop? Turns out they stand menacingly in rows like the Terra Cotta Warriors, just begging to come to life and pillage everything within five miles of the warehouse they’re kept in.

Bethesda has already set an epic precedent with the awesome, power-armored Brotherhood of Steel statues they deployed for Fallout 3, and they’re looking to repeat the feat this Fall to promote Skyrim. We’ve seen some awesome Skyrim-related things already: the hands-on E3 preview, a bevy of screenshots, and a menagerie of updated faces, but the silent, graphite-colored Dragonborn in the photos below give all that stuff a run for its money.
