Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel Presents Overkill Mode
EA Games has released a new trailer for the high-octane co-op action game Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel. The trailer showcases the game’s Overkill mode, which features as many explosions as a Michael Bay movie throughout the entirety of its length.
It begins with the game’s two protagonists, Alpha and Bravo, laying heavy fire into a squad of Cartel goons who are ambushed upon their arrival. The duo then proceed to blow the whole place to kingdom come.
The Overkill mode is enabled when your Overkill gauge reaches full. Once activated, you’ll fire explosive rounds that makes short work of everything you hit. Check it out below:
Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel is the third game in the Army of Two series, and like its predecessors, it’s built upon a co-op campaign for two players, both of whom can customize their loadouts and gear, with ever-expanding options in repeated playthroughs. Players who pick up Skullcandy’s Army of Two-branded SLYR headsets can also equip additional helmets for use in the game.
The game is set for release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in late March. Pre-orders are eligible to receive various upgrade kits to further customize their characters.
