Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Beta Coming to PSN Sept 13th

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has been a fan favorite since it first began, and now Ubisoft is upping the ante with multiplayer in the next installment, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.

What we’ve learned about the multiplayer component so far is interesting – every player has an assassination target, and every player is an assassination target. I’m very intrigued to get my hands on it and see just how it works.

If you’re like me, then you’ll be glad to hear that the beta of the new multiplayer is due to release on September 13. There are only two small caveats. First off, it’s exclusive to the PlayStation 3, so if you don own one, you’re out of luck. Second, you must pre-order the game at GameStop in order to gain access. If you’ve already pre-ordered, you can take your receipt back to GameStop starting August 9th to get your beta access.

The beta slots are limited, so if you want to get in on testing this one, you better get your five bucks and head over to GameStop Monday.
