Assassin’s Creed Monopoly Will Pass Go This November

Assassin’s Creed is preparing to makes its first foray into economic domination.

Whereas Assassin’s Creed Unity and the recently announced Rogue will be video games however, this latest entry in the franchise will abandon its digital roots for the rules and trappings of Monopoly. Announced by the folks at USAopoly, Assassin’s Creed Monopoly will include a unique board, and game pieces based off of Ubisoft’s popular game franchise.

Its game cards will also be customized to match the tone and terms used in the game. For instance, the “go to jail” space will now read “Do not pass go, do not collect 200 Abstergo credits.” The original’s classic street names will likewise be named after historical locations featured in the various Assassin’s Creed games.

Assassin’s Creed Monopoly is currently slated for release in Europe this November. A North American release has yet to be confirmed, but considering the popularity of both franchises, we’d be willing to bet that we’ll be seeing it cross the pond sometime in the future.
