Assassin’s Creed Unity Delayed, Will Launch Alongside Rogue
Assassin’s Creed Unity has been pushed back until November 11th in North America.
Ubisoft revealed the delay today in an announcement telling fans that the game simply needs more time in development so that it can release up to the franchise’s snuff.
“As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional,” stated senior producer Vincent Pontbriand. “We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”
The game’s new release date, of course, means that it will be launching on the same day as Assassin’s Creed Rogue. This will also be the case for Europe where Unity has been pushed back to November 13th, which is Rogue’s release date for that region.
