At 1.53 Million Players, Uncharted 3 is PS3′s Biggest Beta Ever

The Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta is at an end, but it seems that with 1.53 million unique players, Naughty Dog ought to have all the information it needs in order to effectively run servers when the game officially drops in November.

According to numbers released on the Playstation Blog, those 1.53 million players came together to ratchet up 1.9 billion kills — which works out to be about 1,240 kills per player across the beta’s three-week lifespan. Players also accrued $1.4 trillion in kills, treasures and other bonuses, which is more than the gross domestic product of Spain, the world’s eleventh-highest GDP.

Players also unloaded about 48 billion bullets in the beta, completed 22 million matches, and spent the equivalent of 362 years in playing matches in the game. Guess people liked it or something.

More multiplayer action goes online in October, when players can snag a code from Subway stores to access the multiplayer suite before the game comes out on Nov. 1.
