Sometimes I think the developers of Japan-style RPGs are just pulling random words out of a hat to concoct the names they come up with. That’s about the only way I can explain something like the upcoming Summon Night: Twin Age, which Atlus has just announced. The game will center around the wholly original ideas of a young child with strange powers whose home is one day beset by a mysterious evil force. So, because adults in these games are worthless, the child sets off to find the source of the evil with her beast-like companion. Since the game will be on the DS, it looks like you’ll control the action — attacking enemies, using items, healing allies — entirely with the stylus. For all its unoriginality though, I have to admit the game actually looks a little fun; or at least like a good distraction for awhile.
