Australian Retailer Spills Beans on New Black Ops Map Pack

Seems like the best way to get game news is often just to wait for a retailer to accidentally list something.

That’s the case with a new unannounced map pack for the megaselling Call of Duty: Black Ops, called Escalation. Retailer GAME Australia put a flier online (we’ve got it below — thanks, VG247), which mentions five new maps, including a new Zombies mode map. The flier has since been pulled. Activision hasn’t commented about the situation yet.

According to the listing, expect to see Escalation hit Xbox Live first on May 3, followed by showings on Playstation 3 and PC sometime later. Last time a Black Ops map pack hit the ground, First Strike, it was about a month after its release on Xbox that it hit PS3 and PC.

Escalation? Really?

“Seize the zoo?”

What the ?

Ascension = Escalation

I doubt that Treyarch would make the names so similar.
