Awkward: Some Copies Of Blops 2 Have Mass Effect 2 Discs

In one of the strangest examples of manufacturer error, Activision and Electronic Arts must feel quite a bit like the US and USSR trying to swap spies back in the 1970s. It’s being reported that several copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for PC are being shipped out with the second disc replaced by Mass Effect 2.

The funny thing is, it’s a labeling error: The disc has the BLOPS2 log printed on it, but lo and behold, Mass Effect 2 loads up. Awwwkward. The problem has been reported on both Reddit and the Call of Duty forums, as well as on Steam.

What a problem it is too. After hours spent playing Black Ops 2, it has to suck finding out that you’re eventually going to find out that a robot created terrorism as a way of stopping terrorists from committing acts of terror in the US.

This would obviously be an issue at the manufacturer, so if you’re going to buy the PC version, perhaps just get the download from Steam instead of a physical copy. Game Fronters, assuming you’ve purchased this game, are you having this problem? Let us know. And in the meantime, if you’re on the fence, check out our review.

Spoiling the ending would have been to tell you they used yellow, purple, and brown as their ending colors……oops…..forget I said that.
