Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition Gets Cross-Platform Co-op

Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition — music to so many gamer ears. Having already announced new content, a raised level cap, and other goodies, developers Overhaul saved one of their coolest announcements for last: cross-platform co-op. Players will be able to form parties of adventurers by bringing together friends on iPad, PC, Mac, and Android, establishing RPG harmony amidst the usual geek sniping that goes on whenever people feel the need to defend their favorite hardware platform.

We can’t wait to get our hands on the Enhanced Edition when it releases September 18th — any chance you, dear reader, feel similarly? Might we suggest some cross-platform co-op in the near future?
