Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Will Have Paid DLC

This one slipped past us in the aftermath of E3, but if you’re looking forward to the upcoming Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, there might be more to love than the new levels being added into the original classic game. On June 12, Beamdog president Trent OsterOster tweeted some of what fans can expect when the Enhanced Edition drops. In short: DLC.

“We’ll be doing free feature improvements and existing content improvements as we go, but we are also planning some paid DLC.”

Yeah, we know. DLC. SIGH. Still, it demonstrates a commitment to the game beyond simply sprucing it up and, frankly, makes me look even more forward. Incidentally, if you aren’t following Trent Oster on twitter, you should be because the man is a machine of information-generation.
