The new version of RPG classic Baldur’s Gate is imminent: you have less than two months to wait.
Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition launches on Sept. 18 and is currently available for pre-order for PC. It’ll run you $19.99, although if you order it now, Beamdog will knock $2 off the price and let you pre-load it to access it immediately upon the game becoming available.
The new edition of the game includes a bunch of improvements and new content. Here’s the official list:
- New Adventure: The Black Pits
- New Character: Dorn Il-Khan
- New Character: Neera the Wild Mage
- New Character: Rasaad yn Bashir
- A new collection of player character voice sets
- Native support for high resolution widescreen displays
- Over 400 improvements to the original game
- Improved multiplayer support, with connectivity between all platforms
Hit this link to put in your pre-order. If you’d rather have Baldur’s Gate for Mac or iPad, you’ll get your opportunity sometime in September as well.

A couple things I should point out.
1. The html for the topic picture is showing, you might want to fix that.
2. September 18th is over a month away, not less.

@Axetwin
Whoops, accidentally thought it was already August. I’m still in a bit of a Con haze.
Corrected, thanks.
