Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Hits PC in April

PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS 2.5-D actioner Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate will bring its brand of non-lethal violence to PC on April 1.

Officially, it’s the Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition. The handheld Dark Knight adventure is being HD-ified for PC, the map and hint system has been overhauled to improve navigation and objective tracking, and 5.1 surround sound added.

Blackgate answers the question: what would a Metroid platformer look and play like in the Batman: Arkham universe? You can find out for $20 when Blackgate Deluxe hits PC on April Fools’ Day. (Personally, the $20 seems a bit much for this one, so I think I’ll wait for the inevitable Steam sale.)

Considering Batman Arkham Origins was the biggest disappointing, broken, phoned in cash grab of last year I think I’ll just cover my losses and not bother with this one. . . .
