Battlefield 3 Customizable Servers Coming to Consoles

Tired of USAS and frag rounds ruining your good time in Battlefield 3 on console? Well, soon enough, you’ll be able to customize your own server and disable those nuisances. DICE announced at an EA event last night that customizable servers will be available for consoles in the future.

DICE CEO Karl-Magnus Troedsson said:

All active players out there playing on consoles today will now have the opportunity to customize their servers and set them up exactly how they want them to play. Now this is a feature that in Battlefield on PC we’ve had for some time, but it’s an absolute first on console. So, we’re pretty excited about this.

While the developer did not share details on pricing or a release timetable, it must be a great relief to know that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
