Battlefield 3 System Requirements Listed by GameStop

We got tripped up by a fake announcement of the Battlefield 3 system requirements about a month ago, but we’re fairly sure that these are legit, since they’re being listed by GameStop.

Wondering if you need to upgrade your machine to get the best performance out of BF3? Here are the specs you’ll need:

Minimum

  • Hard Drive Space: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
  • Operating System: Windows Vista or Windows 7
  • Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Video Card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card

 

Recommended

  • Hard Drive Space: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
  • Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
  • Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
  • RAM: 4GB
  • Video Card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, GeForce GTX 460, Radeon Radeon HD 6850

so does that mean there’s 5GB of DLC content on the Disk version that has to be unlocked by purchasing them?
if that’s true, then wow no wonder we cant have mod tools.

I just bought a new PC that exceeds the recomended.

This makes me pee myself even more for the game to come out already.
