Battlefield 4 Naval Strike Launches March 25 for Premium Members
EA has just announced that the next Battlefield 4 content pack, Naval Strike, will launch on March 25 for Premium members, and April 8 for everyone.
When we heard the details of the BF4 Naval Strike pack last month, we knew a release date couldn’t be too far away. Today’s announcement means that six days from today, Premium members can dive into four new maps:
- Lost Islands: Blow open a crashed passenger plane and capture fishing villages across these tropical islands.
- Wave Breaker: Drop a submarine on your foes as you infiltrate a naval base or rush between shipping docks and rocky islands on this massive map.
- Nansha Strike: Wage war across stormy seas in the largest ocean stretch in a Battlefield map yet.
- Operation Mortar: Storm an abandoned cliff-side resort, or get lost in the breathtaking vistas in this map.
Naval Strike also includes five new weapons, two additional gadgets, the amphibious hovercraft vehicle, ten assignments and most important, Carrier Assault mode. If you haven’t checked out Carrier Assault, all you need to know is that it’s a modern reshaping of Titan Mode from BF2142.
Battlefield 4 definitely had its problems at launch, but it seems like DICE is trying to make up for lost time with these updates, as they’re rolling out fast. The one thing that we don’t know is how many people are still playing after all the launch issues.
