Battlefield 4 Trailer Gets Leaked, Watch It Here

The first video of Battlefield 4 has sneaked out ahead of the game’s announcement later tonight at the Game Developers Conference 2013, where DICE and Electronic Arts plan to unveil the game to the public for the first time ever.

Set to the music of Rihanna and Jay-Z’s Run This Town, the trailer showcases small portions of the game’s single player campaign. It begins with a scene in which soldiers trapped in what appears to be a cable car, underwater, have to shoot their way out. The player is handed the gun and told to fire.

It’s followed by an explosion in an oilfield, a wild chase through a construction building in which the soldiers are shot at from a helicopter, a driving section through the same exploding oilfield, further exploration of an abandoned building, a shootout in the city, a scene at a downed helicopter, and a whole mess of other scenes, all of which are presumably a part of the game’s single player missions. Along the way, the player can be seen sitting in various vehicles, including a patrol boat, and a jeep.

It’s best you watch it for yourself. Be sure to also check out the screenshots that surfaced earlier today.
