Battlefield Evolved and Dark Knight Rises Game Leaked (RUMOR)

According to MCV, a 2012 release schedule from a major UK High Street retailer has ousted two new titles for the first time: a video game tie-in for the new Batman movie, the Dark Knight Rises, and something called Battlefield Evolved.

The information MCV obtained allegedly suggests a physical release rather than a smaller-scale digital title for the Batman game, while no further details are available on the Battlefield title. MCV speculated that, with EA planning a big push for Medal of Honor: Warfighter this Q4, a fully-fledged Battlefield release seems unlikely. It may be that the SKU includes Battlefield 3 and all of its DLC.

The release schedule has both games launching autumn 2012, along with Grand Theft Auto V.

How likely does this seem to you? I’m always skeptical of claims that aren’t back up by images or, well, any evidence whatsoever.

If BF:Evolved turns out to basically be a release without Origin, I’ll buy it. Wait….. only if it comes on Steam.

I wonder if Battlefield Evolved has anything to do with the “End Game” DLC. There were rumors/hints of a Battlefield 2143 style DLC for BF3 at one point in the style of Bad Company 2′s Vietnam expansion.
