Battlefy eSports Platform Launches its Public Beta

The eSports tournament-management platform Battlefy is moving into its public beta.

The new public beta comes in the wake of more that 1,200 successful events hosted by the program. According to a release from its creators, the public beta will add new features to help expand on the platform’s usefulness. Likewise, while it will maintain its focus on eSports, the company has affirmed that it’s already compatible with more than “42,000 different games.”

Battlefy itself was founded in 2012 by competitive Starcraft player Jason Xu. The platform’s goal was to help players streaming their competitive gaming efforts by providing a platform to aid in the organization and management of tournaments. In the past, Battlefy has been used in high profile eSport events such as Riot’s North American Collegiate Open, Razer’s LoL Clash and Ubisoft’s Might & Magic DoC Road2Paris Championships, among others.
