Bayonetta 2 Dev Update (VID)

Nintendo has released a new video dev diary showing the Bayonetta 2 team bringing us up to speed on the upcoming Wii U title.

Among images of in-progress animation, texturing, and level design, can be found some fantastic pieces of concept art showcasing some of the many different locations players will get to visit in this sequel. The team really wanted to maximize the Wii U’s potential and has upped the ante on the original game. One of the devs said:

“The scale of the game is completely different this time, so it feels like you are fighting the last boss from the very beginning. I think people are going to have lots of fun with it.”

Check out the video:

Is it just me, or does it look like you can equip whips to your boots? Too bad this game is a Wii U exclusive.

As long as I can still have over-the-top finishers involving gigantic hell monsters manifested from the hair that makes up her outfit, I will be well satisfied.

Mike – I’ll be happy enough as long as it still leads to awesome kinky cosplay chicks.
