Namco Bandai has announced that Beautiful Katamari has gone gold. The popular ball-rolling franchise returns on the Xbox 360 with high-definition visuals and a whole set of new features. This installment will contain maore levels than previous games in the series, each with many more objects to roll up. The wacky art style has been preserved, as well as the soundtrack, which will include many songs from 80′s J-pop stars. The game will also feature online multiplayer challenges and new downloadable content which should become available soon after its launch. Beautiful Katamari should be arriving on store shelves on October 17th for $39.99.
