Beyond Good & Evil 2 Makes a Sudden Reappearance Ahead of E3

The long-awaited Beyond Good & Evil 2 may be finally making an actual appearance at Ubisoft’s conference this year at E3. The company teased one of the game’s two main characters, Pey’j, on Facebook this week, with the quote, “Good thing I’m here, otherwise this whole place would fall apart…”

The image was posted alongside the caption, “We’re a bit busy prepping for E3. Time to call in some reinforcements.”

It could be nothing, or it could be a hint that the game will be showing up at the event.

The last update about the game’s development came from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, who stated that the development of the title remained underway despite having very little to show to the public. That was last November. Prior to that in May, the series’ creator Michel Ancel confirmed that the game was in development, alongside the release of an in-engine screenshot.

We’ll see if the game makes its first real appearance at E3.

I honestly didn’t think Duke Nukem Forever, Max Payne 3 and Diablo 3 would all be released before BG&E2. Now we just need Shenmue 3 and Haven 2 to come out and Ubisoft’s failure will be complete.
