BF3 Aftermath DLC Launches November 27

Just in case you still have some money left over after the madness of Black Friday, not to mention the deluge of AAA games launching between now and Christmas, EA and DICE have something else for you to spend cash on. The next DLC for Battlefield 3, called ‘Aftermath’, will be launching November 27, which is to say, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

Aftermath is so named because it takes place in Tehran after an earthquake – presumably, the quake that causes so much damage in Sulaymaniyah during the main game. It adds 4 new maps, plus a new game mode called ‘Scavenger’, as well as new achievements, assignments, vehicles and weapons. It’s free for people who’ve purchased Battlefield premium, but for everyone else, it’ll cost 15 bucks.

Personally, I’m kind of surprised they’re still supporting this thing with DLC a year after launch. But then, it’s multiplayer. Of course EA cares.

I love how your spell check somehow is cool with cahs (cash) but doesn’t freak over Sulaymaniyah…
