BF3′s Back to Karkand is Up on PS3 Now, But It’s Having Issues

As we knew would happen, PS3 gamers got Battlefield 3‘s Back to Karkand expansion today. Unfortunately, it’s having some problems that might prevent you from playing on the new maps. Here’s what EA says:

Please use the Quick Match filter settings to pick the Back to Karkand map and mode you want to play. Going through the server browser right now will match you up with base game maps only. We are hard at work isolating and fixing this issue and will have an ETA on this later. Stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, using Quick Match will let you select and play on any map, from the base game or Back to Karkand.

So there you go. If you’re having problems with it, chill and follow the above instructions and you’ll be fine.

Meanwhile, if you have Battlefield 3 on PC or Xbox 360, you can sit tight; Back to Karkand will be ready for you next Tuesday.

It’s not that big of an issue, but people always cry about something, sure it should be nice to have the maps isolated from the original maps, but oh well nothing is perfect. Other than that, the maps are really nice. I bet they will be insane on PC though.
