BFG Tech Going Out of Business?

mainboxA few months back BFG Tech, a company known for its’ hardware accessories like graphics cards and power supplies quickly exited the consumer video card market. According to a rumor at [H]ard|OCP it looks like leaving the video cards behind was just the first step in the company leaving existence behind completely. A source inside the flailing company reports that staff in the company’s PSU group were given pink slips recently.

Considering that after leaving the video card retail chain, power supplies were the companies next biggest market, well things don’t look good for the company. If you’re considering purchasing BFG hardware you may want to keep in mind that should the company fold soon there will be nowhere to get the hardware replaced if it fails. The company itself has not announced its closing but the signs aren’t good.
