BioShock Infinite “City in The Sky” Trailer Released
2K has released yet another trailer for BioShock Infinite, this one more in line with traditional Hollywood trailers — complete with that Inception horn sound-effect that’s become the lens flare of the audio world.
As cheeky as I may seem, I enjoyed the trailer. But if you absolutely don’t want any story spoilers, you may want to steer clear of this one.
The description reads:
“The year is 1912 and Booker DeWitt is headed to the city of Columbia. A technological marvel amongst the clouds, Columbia holds a dark secret, and with it, a mysterious girl. Upon arrival, Booker discovers that rescuing the imprisoned girl will be more difficult than he could have imagined.”
Check it out:
“One nation over God.” Clever.
Just as the generic FPS cover is meant to appeal to frat boys, I feel like this is the trailer aimed at a general audience — and I don’t mean that as a criticism. Although, it wouldn’t surprise me if you could set that tension-building trailer music to any kind of footage and it would seem impressive.
