BioShock Infinite DLC Still In The Works, Says Ken Levine
It has been three months since the release of BioShock: Infinite, but the promised DLC contained within the DLC Season Pass have yet to be released. Given the amount of time it’s taking to release, there’s little doubt that work on the DLC started only after the release of the game—not before, as so many other games would have it.
Concerned that players of the game are worried that Irrational Games isn’t working on the DLC, studio boss Ken Levine posted a quick update on his Twitter account today to assure players that the DLC was indeed in development at the studio.
“DLC Update: We are working on it – have been since the game shipped,” Levine tweeted today. “Things are going well, but please understand: game development takes time.”
Needless to say, Irrational Games isn’t a studio that seeks to cash in on the success of BioShock Infinite, which is both critically and popularly acclaimed, with the release of a quick money grab as other studios might have. We will simply have to embrace patience and trust that the studio knows what they’re doing with the DLC.
